The veterinarians at Plains Veterinary Hospital understand that not all veterinary needs occur during regular business hours, and are pleased to offer emergency veterinary care to our established clients only. If you are a client and have a true emergency, please call our emergency number at 225-301-4648.
The veterinary emergency services at Plains Veterinary Hospital begin at 5 pm on weekdays, after noon on Saturdays, and all hours on Sunday. Our veterinarians are ordinarily available after-hours, but in the event one of them is not available, please contact the Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine at 225-578-9600.
